Still thinking of buying or building your next new home or starter home in Windsor Ontario?  Mortgage rates are on the rise and I would recommend those of you that have been waiting for that great deal on your new home to come along to get moving.  Interest rates have gone up twice in as many weeks and likely won't stop there.  For those of you that were waiting for the bottom of the real estate market to come, well I believe it has come and gone.  Not that home prices are going to shoot through the roof tomorrow but I believe you will see sellers holding tighter to their asking prices.  You are also looking at decreased buying power of that dream home since interest rates have gone up.

   Buyers have been waiting for certain homes to come down in price and it just hasn't happened.   These homes are now selling like hotcakes.  I had a buyer request to see six homes in one neighborhood only to find that when I started booking them four had already been sold.

     There are still great deals out there to be had but I would recommend to all of you buyers to stop sitting on the fence and make that real estate purchase today before mortgage rates go up again.  We still have great things happening with new builds if that is the way you wish to go as well.
